Travel meditation for a train, bus, or in traffic gridlock:
Let the whole of your body go loose, relaxing any area of tension, and take some deep breaths. Accept that there is nothing you can do to get to your destination faster. Focus on your breathing and visualize any anxiety or worry simply floating away with each exhalation. Just let it go. Each time anxiety or worry tries to come back, bring your focus back to the breath and let go. You might even want to repeat the mantra PEACE with each exhalation.
